Design of a proposal for strengthening the Guiding Framework of the Specific Institutional Risk Assessment System: INAMU Case

This article highlights the importance of risk assessment in public sector entities, in this specific case, in the National Women's Institute. After more than a decade of implementation of the Guiding Framework of the Specific Institutional Risk Assessment System, the need to review and improve it is recognized, in order to strengthen this system. To this end, the question arises as to how the risk management of the National Women's Institute can be enhanced through the strengthening of its guiding framework. Precisely, the importance of identifying and analyzing the risks associated with institutional objectives and the need to adopt mitigation measures is emphasized. It is emphasized that in governmental organizations it is essential to have an internal control system and an adequate risk assessment in order to meet the objectives and maintain an acceptable level of risk.
