Abstract

This article refers to a description and analysis of geopolitics, globalization, (deglobalization) and migration from a focus on the Central American region in a context of changes and new leadership in the International System. In this order, understanding the globalization process as an opportunity to create alliances for the exchange of goods, services and a common agenda to achieve goals for the well-being of the population is of primary importance for States and other actors in the international sphere. As for the Central American region, it is located in a geographical space rich in the production of products for export, routes by sea, air and land, as well as political and commercial alliances with the main economies of the world.
