Abstract

The effectiveness of governance critically depends on the training and experience of political and governmental leaders. This essay argues that fields like medicine or engineering and public administration require solid academic training and practical experience. It explores the links between education, the ability to design effective policies, and experience in their implementation. Additionally, it assesses how maturity contributes to making equitable decisions focused on the common good, using comparative analysis and data to underscore these points.
