Considerations for strengthening the Legal Framework of the film industry in Costa Rica

Abstract

Costa Rica´s cinematographic activity is ruled by a
law promulgated in 1977 that created Costa Rica´s
Cinematographic Production Center. The update of
legal ordering demands revising of the administrative
structure of said center, the role of the state and the
stimuli that the cinematographic industry requires.
