Abstract

THIS STUDY ADDRESSES TWO AREAS OF CONSIDERATION FOR A SECTORAL DIAGNOSIS OF HEALTH IN COSTA RICA. THE FIRST EXAMINES THE PROCESS OF THE SEARCH FOR INTEGRATION OF PUBLIC SERVICES AND HEALTH INSTITUTIONS, IN ORDER TO LOCATE THE LEVEL OF DEVELOPMENT AT WHICH THEY ARE AT PRESENT.
