Public budgeting and results for sustainable human development in Costa Rica

Abstract

Public budget has expression of government plans, that not only respond to the needs detected within the territory, but also to an international agenda that assumes that all countries needs the same: improve quality life of its inhabitants. In this way, this research expose, through selective data collection, implementation of the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations in Costa Rica, detecting theoretical, methodological, and programmatic efforts, and even budgetary, which although points to a certain degree of progress, and also reflects urgent improvement points to establish.
