Abstract

DEMOGRAPHY, PUBLIC HEALTH AND ADMINISTRATION ARE LINKED BY CLOSE RELATIONSHIPS: ON THE ONE HAND, DEMOGRAPHIC TRENDS HAVE A DECISIVE INFLUENCE ON HEALTH PROBLEMS AND PROGRAMS. ON THE OTHER HAND, HEALTH IS A DEMOGRAPHIC VARIABLE, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE THE PLANNING OF SERVICES AFFECTS THE COURSE OF MORTALITY, MORBIDITY AND FERTILITY.
