Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of blockchain technology in the different areas important for the development of a country, making them efficient and effective. That is why the term blockchain will be contextualized, reviewing what this technology is, what its applications are and how it could be used in fields such as banking, health, the economy, among others. It will also describe the possible applications of this technology and analyze what would be the changes that this would bring and in order to take advantage of the opportunities and strengths of the use of the technology to be able to solve or addressing potential weaknesses and threats, in the different fields. The analysis is approached from a methodology of descriptive type, with an exploratory approach, in which the review of scientific articles, of institutional web pages: qualitative quantitative in order to gather useful information related to that topic.
