Abstract

THIS PAPER FOCUSES ON THE ANALYSIS OF THE MEANING THAT THE EXISTENCE OF A COMMUNITY OF LAW SHOULD HAVE. TO THIS END, THE CURRENT INSTITUTIONAL CONSTRUCTION OF SICA IS ANALYZED, FROM THE CENTRAL AMERICAN CONSTITUTIONAL HERITAGE TO THE FUNCTIONING OF THE BODIES CREATED BY THE PROTOCOL OF TEGUCIGALPA AND ITS COMPLEMENTARY INSTRUMENTS AND DERIVED ACTS, WITH THE PURPOSE OF CREATING A SPACE FOR REFLECTION IN THE ACADEMIC COMMUNITY REGARDING WHETHER THIS ORGANIZATION HAS THE FUNDAMENTAL CHARACTERISTICS FOR THIS CATEGORIZATION.
