Abstract

THE 1995 CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM GIVES MUNICIPALITIES THE POWER TO INFLUENCE THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR CONSTITUENCIES, GIVING THEM A GREATER MARGIN OF ACTION AND INFLUENCE IN THE DIFFERENT MATTERS THAT AFFECT THE LIFE OF THE CITIZEN. IT ALSO ANALYZES THE SOCIOECONOMIC CONTEXT OF THE MUNICIPALITIES AND THE SERVICES THEY PROVIDE TO THE POPULATION.
