Abstract

THE REGIONAL INTEGRATION OF CENTRAL AMERICA IS AN ISSUE OF TRANSCENDENTAL IMPORTANCE THAT IS BEING DEBATED IN THE DIFFERENT OPINION FORUMS OF THE REGION. SINCE ICAP IS ONE OF THE KEY ORGANS OF INTEGRATION, THIS ISSUE OF THE CENTRAL AMERICAN JOURNAL OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION IS DEDICATED TO THE ANALYSIS OF REGIONAL INTEGRATION. THE FIGURES PRESENTED HERE PROVIDE IMPORTANT ELEMENTS FOR UNDERSTANDING THE SITUATION OF THE COUNTRIES OF THE CENTRAL AMERICAN BLOC, AS WELL AS INFORMATION ABOUT THE INSTITUTIONAL FRAMEWORK THROUGH WHICH THE AFOREMENTIONED SCHEME IS GIVEN LIFE.
