Abstract

This article deals with the implementation of actions to strengthen the Instructional Risk Control and Assessment System based on a quality approach for the National Women's Institute, through the implementation of applied methodologies and an improvement proposal to be implemented by the Institute. The research was carried out at the headquarters of the National Women's Institute located in the city of San José, Costa Rica, province of San José, canton Montes de Oca, district San Pedro. The project was carried out with the purpose of addressing identified needs to strengthen the Internal Control Systems and the Specific Risk Assessment System of INAMU from a quality approach, through the implementation of Improvement Plans that allow the Institute to carry out actions focused on the prevention and attention of vulnerabilities that may jeopardize the achievement of the institution's objectives.

Investigadora. Costarricense. Licda. Planificación Económica y Social, graduada en la Universidad Nacional (UNA). Máster en Gerencia de Calidad, graduada del Instituto Centroamericano de administración Pública (ICAP). Posee estudios de especialización en Auditorias de Calidad del Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica (TEC) y Gestión de Riesgos de la Universidad (FUNDEPOS), con experiencia en Control Interno y Gestión de Riesgos, actual mente se desempeña como profesional especialista en Auditoría Interna.
