Abstract

Currently, the management of local governments adopts a superior dynamic that imposes a greater degree of demand in the organization and direction of activities for the fulfillment of the 2030 agenda for sustainable development. In this order, the evaluation of the results represents a way to ensure control in each of the objectives. The purpose of this article is to analyze the different approaches in evaluating the results of local governments, identifying essential variables and the main tools used in order to contribute to the proposal of essential dimensions that are part of the applied results evaluation process. to local governments. Four dimensions are proposed that rest on the existence of an informative, efficient, effective, flexible system, encompassing the processes that affect decision-making at all levels of the organization, and that contribute to knowing the management results, follow up on sustainable development goals, manage change and create public value
