Abstract

As a result of the current global crises that impact humanity, cooperative efforts are articulated between multiple and different social actors, with the aim of creating positive synergies and placing the planet on a more sustainable and resilient path. Faced with such an international situation, social enterprises are structured in the creation of proposals for systemic change of our traditional socio-political paradigms. It is for this reason that the objective of this article is to discuss the application of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy to the development of social enterprises. This will be developed to better understand the social and environmental impacts generated by said business model, specifically in the post-COVID-19 world. Likewise, the study is instrumentalized from three analytical edges: I. General analysis of the concept "social enterprises" and its relationship with the Triple Bottom Line and Corporate Social Responsibility, II. Discussion on the Sustainable Development Goals and III. Integration and relationship of the previous points with the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy.
