Abstract

THE AUTHOR DISCUSSES THE PRINCIPLE THAT GOVERNS METHOD AND METHODOLOGY WITH THE PURPOSE OF EXPLAINING THE NEED TO TAKE A FLEXIBLE AND OPEN POSITION BEFORE THE PHENOMENA STUDIED, WHICH ALLOWS FOR THE CONTINUOUS REVISION AND TRANSFORMATION OF RESEARCH INSTRUMENTS. IN THE SECOND PART OF THE ARTICLE, SHE DELVES INTO THE SITUATION OF THE CENTRAL AMERICAN REGION VERSUS THE CHALLENGES PRESENTED IN HEALTH MATTERS, MAKING SOME CONSIDERATIONS ON THE ASSUMPTIONS ON WHICH THE WORK OF THE HEALTH SECTOR SHOULD BE BASED.
