Abstract

THIS PAPER PRESENTS F. HERZBERG'S THEORY OF MOTIVATION-HYGIENE AND FOLLOWING ITS GRAPHIC EXPRESSIONS, A RE-HIERARCHIZATION OF MOTIVATIONAL AND INCENTIVE VARIABLES IS TESTED. THIS IS OBTAINED BY TAKING AS A SUPPORT, BOTH THE INTENSITY AND THE DURATION OF ATTITUDE CHANGES AT WORK, EMPHASIZING THE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT STRATEGY TO BE FOLLOWED IN THE ORGANIZATIONS.
