Abstract

The community-based development in Costa Rica counts with the direct support of the National Department of Community Development, DINADECO; the organization of the communities within their Development Associations constitutes the bridge towards project financing and execution for the common welfare. However, many of the projects have limitations because of the regional, academic and professional differences that are found among the persons in charge of the execution of the projects within the communities.
