THE ANALYSIS OF THE ACTIONS OF THE SOCIAL ACTORS IN THE PUBLIC POLICY PROCESS, FROM THE TREATMENT OF THE PROBLEM, THE DESIGN OF THE AGENDA, THE FORMULATION OF THE POLICY, THE DECISION MAKING, THE IMPLEMENTATION, THE EVALUATION AND THE COMPARISON OF THE POLICY, REQUIRES THEORETICAL APPROACHES TO UNDERSTAND THE SUCCESS OF THE POLICY OVER TIME. THE STUDY OF DIFFERENT THEORIES PROVIDES THE ANALYST WITH DIFFERENT AND USEFUL TOOLS IN THE MANAGEMENT OF PUBLIC POLICY KNOWLEDGE.
