Abstract

In the present research work is qualitative, data are taken from government plans, and it is quantitative, where surveys are analyzed and a virtual one was elaborated. Governments are analyzed from the transition from the civil war to the present (1989-2019). The objective is to investigate the government's plans and the style of leadership that the four ARENA governments and two of the FMLN had. The style of government varies, depending on the degree of study of each president, the type of ideology and the approach that arises in the axes of the plan. The government plans presented are compared with the results of each management. In addition, the political erosion and acts of corruption carried out by Antonio Saca and Mauricio Funes, made Salvadoran politics think of other leaders.
