Abstract

Cooperatives have been promoted around the world as an alternative to incorporate people into economic system and fighting against social inequalities. The combination of social and business areas in just one organization, aim to achieve integral goals in local and regional spaces. Today, cooperatives are considered important means to distribute wealth and prosperity. In that context, this paper develops four intelligences about cooperatives, looking for new elements to strength the model as smart organizations.
