Abstract

THIS PAPER IS AN ANALYSIS OF THE EXPERIENCE OF THE CENTRAL AMERICAN BANK FOR ECONOMIC INTEGRATION (CEIB) IN ITS EFFORTS TO MINIMIZE AND AVOID THE REPERCUSSIONS OF THE CENTRAL AMERICAN CRISIS ON ITS FINANCIAL SITUATION, AND HOW IT RESPONDS TO ENSURE ITS MEMBER COUNTRIES A SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL SUPPLY. OUT OF THE CRISES, A BANK HAS EMERGED THAT RESPONDS FLEXIBLY AND QUICKLY TO THE UNFOLDING ENVIRONMENT.
