Abstract

QUALITY CIRCLES ARE A PROGRAM BY AND FOR PEOPLE, WHICH MEANS THAT, REGARDLESS OF THE CULTURAL CONTEXT, THEIR APPLICATION IS FEASIBLE IN ANY WORKPLACE, AS SHOWN IN THE EXAMPLES PRESENTED. THE FOLLOWING IS AN ANALYSIS OF THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE OF THE CIRCLES IN COSTA RICA, AND FINALLY, A SET OF CONCLUSIONS AND PROPOSALS ARE PRESENTED THAT WILL BE USEFUL FOR COMPANIES IN PARTICULAR AND THE COUNTRY IN GENERAL.
